Here’s a look at what I have so far for Sigildry. This is a fairly standard noun and verb magic system. Any comments or thoughts are welcome.

I can’t say much about how this might affect balance, but this is a great idea and a lot of work must have been put into this. This is a great take on the idea of magic runes. How did you get the art?
Also, the reference to The Hobbit and moon-runes is not missed.
Thanks. I actually drew the runes myself. Some are made up, some are taken from esoteric symbols… if I remember right. I drew them awhile ago. They were originally just black and white images, but after scanning them I ran them through some effects in Affinity Photo (which I now prefer quite a lot to Photoshop).
Glad to hear that my little reference to The Hobbit hasn’t gone too far astray.
I’m a bit unsure about the long-term affects on game balance myself. I have a few quite odd magic systems in this game, and they might all work against one another in strange ways. I’m really not very sure. I guess we’ll just have to see how they work out.
